Moroccan Farro

Farro is a nutrition-dense grain with a lovely texture and nutty flavor. Like so many grains, it's a blank canvas and welcomes the addition of exotic flavors and delicious ingredient add-ins. Here, we used our sweet-spicy Moroccan Blend along with pine nuts and raisins for a North African inspired side dish or Meatless Monday entree.


1 cup Farro

1 Tbl All Natural Avocado Oil

1 Tbl Moroccan Blend

1/2 cup toasted pine nuts

1/3 cup raisins

Pinch Salt


Cook farro according to package directions. Drain (if necessary) and cool slightly. In a saute pan, heat the Avocado Oil over medium heat. Add the farro and Moroccan Blend. Stir and heat through until the spices are aromatic. Fold in the raisins and pine nuts. Season to taste with salt. Serve as a side dish or vegetarian main dish.
