Lime Basmati Rice

We love this quick trick for making rice, or any grain, something special. The addition of Lemon Lime Salmon Rub and our Key Lime Avocado Oil lends excellent flavor and brightness to a pot of rice. It's excellent with our Shrimp & Sweet Potato Curry, but it's good enough to stand on its own!

Ingredients:

1.5 cups Basmati Rice

1 tsp Lemon Lime Salmon Rub

2 Tbl Key Lime Avocado Oil

1 tsp salt

Directions:

Heat a pot with a tight-fitting lid over medium-high heat. Add the Key Lime Avocado Oil, uncooked Basmati Rice, Lemon Lime Salmon Rub and salt. Stir to coat the rice with the seasonings and oil. Saute until you begin to hear the rice sizzle and pop a bit. Add 3 cups water and bring to a full rolling boil. Reduce the heat and place the lid on the pot and cook for 17 minutes. Remove the lid and fluff the rice with a fork.
