Nutmeg comes from the inside of the fruit an Evergreen Tree, native to the Spice Islands. It has a long history of being used in Asian cooking.

Add nutmeg at the end of cooking to keep its flavor full. Use it in puddings, eggnogs, spiced wine, and baked goods such as muffins and apple pie. It's also wonderful in savory dishes like pasta, sauces, and steamed vegetables.

To use whole nutmeg, grate it with our Nutmeg and Cinnamon Grater- this ensures the freshest taste possible! Grate it over tiramisu, butternut squash soup or pumpkin pie for a beautiful, aromatic dusting of nutmeg to finish off your dish.
