Join Chef Aimee Tortorich in the kitchen as she works with you toward proficient cutting, chopping, dicing and slicing. You'll learn cut/chop basics plus more specific nuances like the difference between mince and chiffonade. You'll be expertly guided by Aimee who is a graduate of LCI with solid restaurant experience. Aimee is currently a personal chef and works closely with Jay Ducote on his culinary adventures. 

Students should bring their knife from home. In the event, we find that your knife is not suitable, we will have knives on hand. Students will receive guidance on purchasing knives and also local resources for sharpening.

This is a hands-on cooking class. Each participant will take home the items they cut and chop. Plus, each participant will enjoy a meal that we prepare using the ingredients from the class. Participants also receive a sample product and a store discount to use the day of the class.
