Tuesday, April 20:Arrival Paris-Orientation
Accompanied by an expert guide you will explore medieval Paris as introduction and reorientation to the city. This tour will offer a glimpse into Parisianlife, blending history, culture, and everyday charm. Stroll through lively cafés andbakeries to discover the neighborhood’s rich gastronomic heritage. Along the way, admire the nearby Notre-Dame Cathedral (external view) and its iconic architecture.Finally, pass by the historic Sorbonne University, a symbol of Paris’s intellectual legacy.Day 1 ends with a welcome dinner with an opportunity to meet the chef.
Wednesday, April 21, Day 2: The Art & Flavours of Paris
We will depart in the morning on foot in small group toexplore the gourmet delights of the St. Germain District, exploring the tiniest and most special artisan shops in this gastronomically-gifted quarter. We will sample iconic breads from a world-famous bakery, select perfectly aged cheeses from a specialist fromagerie in a historic covered market, and indulge in rich chocolate and show-stopping pâtisserie from a master pastry chef.
The afternoon includes a guided visit to Musée D’Orsay. This beautiful museum exhibits world-class art in an unforgettable setting, and focuses on the beloved period of 19th to 20th century art. It is packed with Impressionist and Post-Impressionist highlights synonymous with Paris, including Monet, van Gogh and Renoir. If the Louvre Museum is about scale and history, the Musée d’Orsay is about beauty, emotion, and experience - making it our choice for this trip!
Day 2 afternoon and evening at your leisure to explore and dine on your own.
Thursday, April 22, Day 3: Champagne Daytrip
We will depart with a private guide on a coach on a two-hour scenic route road trip to theChampagne region where the vines cover 100,000 acres and produce more than 300 million bottles per year. We will learn and understand why this sparkling wine is so unique. A complete explanation of the different processes, from the work in the vineyard, the first alcoholic fermentation up to the bottling, will unveil the secrets of this magical beverage.
The tour includes visits to Champagne Joseph Desruet where we will enjoy lunch, and then we're off to tour Moët & Chandon in Épernay. These two visits offer a contrast between a small, independent producer and a large, world-renowned champagne house.
We will arrive back at the hotel at approximately 6pm and the evening is free for exploring and dining.
Friday, April 23, Day 4: A Celebration of the Senses
Culinary travel with Red Stick Spice wouldn’t be complete without at cooking class. On day 4, we will head out to a croissant and pastry cooking class where we will learn all about the history of the iconic pastry, as well as how to fold and make our own croissant dough. Throughout the morning we will work in pairs to make an assortment of breakfast pastries including croissants, pains au chocolate, pains Suisse, and even pains aux raisins.
Lunchtime is at your leisure, and our guide will have plenty of suggestions for eateries and shopping.
After lunch, we will gather and depart on foot to a perfume shop where we will enjoy a workshop creating your own perfume. Because taste is deeply connected to smell, learning to refine your nose unlocks a new dimension of appreciation for food and fragrance alike.The workshop begins with an introduction to the history of perfumery and the main olfactory families. You will choose your preferred base, middle and top notesbuilding a fragrance in a similar way to layering flavours in cooking.At the end of the session, everyone leaves with a 30 ml bottle of their unique creation.
The day ends in the Marais district with a lovely selection of boutiques to explore at your leisure. We will provide shopping hints and tips!
Dinner is on your own. This evening includes an optional Sainte Chapelle concert. (tickets are an additional fee.)
Saturday, April 24, Day 5: Antiques & Free Time
Day 5 has us splitting into two groups, one will visit the Antiques market in the morning, and the other in the afternoon. When not with the guide, the remainder of the day is yours.
Each group will visit anantiques marketwith shopping and antiques specialist,Riad Kneife. Paris is home to some of the largest antiques markets in the world which can be overwhelming, but Riad will lead you to off the beaten path shops and help you unearth rare gems and hidden treasures. His expertise is invaluable in navigating the hundreds of market stalls and explaining how to barter with zealous vendors.

Sunday, April 25, Day 6: The Belle Epoque & Finale Lunch
We will depart as a group, via private transfer, to the top of Montmartre where we spend the finale morning together with novelist and writer, Lily Heise, and journey back to the thrilling Belle Epoque on a tour around Montmartre and Pigalle. Lasting from 1870 to 1914, the "Beautiful Era" was a time of living life to its fullest, and in Paris this was done in the Montmartre area. A former village in the north of the city, Montmartre, and its southern edge bordering Pigalle, attracted artists and eccentrics during the Belle Epoque leading to the area becoming the entertain zone of the city. We'll see the favourite haunts of innovative artists like Picasso, van Gogh and Toulouse-Lautrec, learn the real history of the Moulin Rouge and end at a glamorous former Maison Close, a Belle Epoque brothel-turned-stylish hotel. In this lavish setting, we'll sample a custom cocktail designed especially for us and enjoy our finale lunch of the tour.
The remainder of the day and evening are yours to explore with plenty of time for packing prior to departure.

Transportation
Return airport transfers are included in the tour price from either Paris Airport. During the tour where transportation around the city takes place by public transport you will be responsible for meeting the cost of public transportation and any taxis locally.
Accommodations
Accommodations are not included in the tour price. However, we are holding a number of rooms at the four-star Victoria Palace Hotel, located on a quiet street in Paris’ elegant Left Bank, a short walk from Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Le Bon Marché and the Luxembourg Gardens.Housed in a restored 1913 building in the 6th arrondissement, the hotel blends classic Parisian charm with contemporary style. Following its recent renovation, rooms are spacious by Paris standards and decorated in understated tones with subtle Art Deco touches. The hotel also features a peaceful inner courtyard terrace, offering a tranquil escape from the bustle of the city. There is not a restaurant on site, but there is an intimate bar serving cocktails and light bites and there are simple room service options. There are plenty of restaurant choices nearby.
We are holding Executive Rooms which are 23-26sqm, king size bed and face the inner courtyard terrace. Please note these rooms cannot be twinned. For guests requiring a twin bedroom, there is the option to downgrade to a Superior Room, or upgrade to a Deluxe Rooms. These options will be discussed with you at point of booking.

Your place on the tour is only confirmed once we have received both the booking form and a 20% non-refundable deposit. Bookings for the tour are live now and will be considered on a first come first served basis.
Tour Numbers
Tours are subject to a minimum and maximum number of participants. While we endeavor to run all tours, if the tour cannot go ahead due to insufficient numbers, or due to other factors beyond our control, then your deposit will be refunded. Please note that while we are able to refund your tour deposit should the tour not be possible to run, it will not be possible to refund for any flights you have already booked. Please do read our terms and conditions when completing the booking form for full details.

In late 2026 US citizens will need an ETIAS (an electronic tourist visa) to enter the European Union for short stays up to 90 days. The fee is expected to be around €10-€20 per person but the exact costs and start date of the scheme has yet to be announced.
