Brine Kits


Not just for turkey! Brining is a great way to ensure juicy results. Use the technique on chicken, pork chops, pork roast and, of course, turkey

Our Dry Brine kit is a combination of savory herbs and pure, clean Sonoma kosher flake salt. Use 1 Tablespoon for each pound of protein. Salt the meat and refrigerate for at least 12 hours. Then rub with oil or butter and roast. Try it on Zuni-style chicken. You won't believe the golden brown, crispy skin and moist meat on this chicken. 

Our Wet Brine kit is perfect for holiday turkey and also works well on pork roast or chops. Dissolve the kit in boiling water then cool with ice. submerge the protein in the solution and add a quartered apple and citrus (an orange or lemon). Refrigerate for at least 12 hours. Rinse before coating with oil and roasting. Our Wet Brine kit includes Sonoma kosher flake salt, organic sugar, peppercorns, allspice, cinnamon, bay leaves, rosemary and cinnamon.  Try it with our Citrus Brined Pork Loin and Road Toad's Brined Chicken.
