Whole allspice has a robust and intense flavor that's sure to enhance your dishes. Allspice is aptly named because it has the pleasant fragrances of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and pepper...all the spices!

Allspice is indigenous to tropical Central America and the West Indies, but today, most allspice is cultivated in Jamaica. These Jamaican Allspice berries boast the highest oil content (4-5 percent) and have a uniform size and shape.
