Mediterranean Cream Cheese Spread

Mediterranean Spice Blend has risen to among our top ten customer favorites. Hand-blended in store, this blend is truly versatile. Add it to oil and vinegar for a vinaigrette. Add to marinara for meat sauce or lasagna. Soften it in a saute pan with olive oil then drizzle over pasta or polenta. Scrambled eggs, baked potatoes, grilled veggies...the list goes on. Here we use it in a simple dip. The green and red flecks from the bell peppers and aleppo chiles give this dip lively color and amazing flavor. Give it a few hours for the flavors to meld, then watch it disappear!

Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese softened (low fat works here)

2 Tbl Mediterranean Spice Blend

Directions

In a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, combine the cream cheese and Mediterranean Spice Blend until well blended. Place in a bowl and refrigerate for at least an hour. Serve with veggie spears or pita chips. This is also great as a sandwich spread.
