The process for producing the best vanilla beans in the world now refers to beans grown and cured in the nearby islands: Madagascar, the Comoros Islands and the Bourbon aka Reunion Island.
This hand crafted vanilla paste will add an elegant appearance as well as extraordinary flavor to your cuisine. Perfect in gelato, whipped cream, crème brûlée and other culinary confections where the flavor and appearance of a vanilla bean is desired. One teaspoon of puree is equivalent to one teaspoon of vanilla extract or 1-1/2 inches of a vanilla pod.
