Pastry Basics: Biscuits & Scones


Join April Hamilton in the kitchen and learn to master the tricks of the trade for creating perfect pastry at home. Learn the science behind the types of fats, liquid and flour that will make your pastry irresistible.

This is a hands-on cooking class. Each participant will take home their prepped items. Plus, each participant will enjoy samples of a few dishes we prepare. Participants also receive a sample product and a store discount. No refunds. Class payments may be transferred to a later class, or you may transfer your class to another person. These requests must be made ten (10) days prior to the class date.

June 20, 6pm

Participants will make a pan of biscuits and scones to take home to bake or freeze. Keep them classic or choose from a variety of mix ins. Create currant, chocolate chip or pecan-ginger scones. Try your hand at honey, cheese or garlic herb biscuits! You'll snack on biscuits and scones during class with a variety of our favorite accoutrement including Grinning Jupiter Jam and Iverstine Butcher bacon! YUM!
