Fleur de Sel Sea Salt is from the Guérande region of France and is certified Organic. Fleur De Sel  crystals form on the very top layer of the salt ponds and are harvested by barely skimming the surface. It has a delicate flavor, a moist texture, and a rich, sweet flavor that melts as it touches the tongue. Not only is this among the best tasting salts, it also has a high mineral content which gives it a unique flavor. Fleur de Sel is a natural compliment to steamed and grilled veggies, salads and roasted meats. We love it for baking. We use it both in batters, doughs and frostings and to garnish. Sprinkle a little atop a frosted cupcake for a crunchy, salty surprise.
