Join us for a fun and informative class on gut-friendly and delicious sauerkraut. Store staffer Kaitlynn is a microbiologist and the food artisan behind Cultured Guru. She will help you understand why microbes are important to your health and future.
Sauerkraut Making is a "hands on" class where you will create and take home a jar of sauerkraut along with a fermentation weight. Both the jar and weight are reusable for your next jar of kraut! You will also taste prepared kraut and kraut brine in a variety of dishes.
Participants will have the option of creating Turmeric Kraut for a spicy, tasty, anti-inflammatory boost!
This class is for participants 13 and up. Teenagers must be accompanied by an adult; both the teenager and accompanying adult must purchase a class seat. Cancellation/refund requests must be received at least seven days prior to the class date.
