EACH CLASS PURCHASE OF $190 IS FOR A GROWN UP + CHILD PAIR. CHILDREN MUST BE 10 YEARS OLD OR OLDER. EACH GROWN UP + CHILD PAIR WILL WORK TOGETHER AT A STATION TO CREATE A DIFFERENT DISH AND DESSERT. THERE WILL BE AN OPPORTUNITY TO TASTE ALL THE DISHES AND DESSERTS CREATED IN THE ROOM AT THE END OF THE CLASS AS EVERYONE SITS TOGETHER TO ENJOY THE MEAL.
Mom. Or Dad. Or Grandpa. Or Mimi. Big sisters and bros? Sure! Grown ups plus kids 10 years old and up will have a blast in this class that's all about working together to create quick, nutrition-packed meals filled with veggies, fruit and so many flavors.
Meet your instructor: New Orleans-based Celeste Baer. Celeste specializes in artisanal, farm-to-table cuisine. Her background in the culinary industry along with certifications and studies as a nutritional therapy practitioner and the "Cookbook Project's Food Literacy Educator" have led her to follow her passion through food wellness.
Celeste is the founder of "Bayou Baby Bites", a locally sourced line of baby purees and has been featured in New Orleans Entrepreneur Week's "The Big Idea" as well as the winner of the "NOLA Made" pitch competition and finalist in Propeller's "Living Well" competition.
Celeste was classically trained at the Culinary Institute LeNotre in Houston,TX and then received her certification as a Nutrition Therapy Practitioner from the Nutritional Therapy Association. Celeste currently works full time for Chef Emeril Lagasse’s Foundation: inspiring, mentoring and enabling youth to reach their full potential through culinary and arts education. On the weekends you can find Celeste perusing the Farmers Market with her husband and 2 young children or running along Bayou St. John with her rescue pups.
Each grown up + child pair will work together at a stations. There are four stations in the room, and each station will create a different dish and dessert. At the end of class, everyone can enjoy all the dishes and desserts. We will offer to-go containers for leftovers (if there are any!) Everyone receives a recipe packet of all dishes and desserts created during the class. This class is for children 10 years old and up.

This class is for adult + child pairs - children must be 10 or older. The adult + child pair will work together at a cooking station.
CLASS TRANSFER POLICY: No Refunds. If you are unable to attend this class, you may request a transfer to move your reservation to another class. However these requests must be received seven (7) working days in advance of the class date. If your request is made after seven (7) working days, we will not be able to accommodate your transfer request. You may, however, pass along your place in this class to another person. Planning and staffing takes place well in advance of each cooking class; therefore, we are unable to offer refunds.
