Get your hands on Zwilling knives - literally - in this hands-on knife skills class with Zwilling Chef Bernard Janssen. Learn the basics of knife safety and maintenance along with essential cutting techniques that will make you a better, faster and safer home cook! 

 

Chef Bernard currently serves as Executive Chef and Culinary Program Manager for ZWILLING J.A. Henckels. Additionally Bernard launched the first US ZWILLING Culinary Studio at the company headquarters in Pleasantville, New York, offering cooking classes, product trainings and private events. 

 

Originally from The Netherlands, Bernard has over twenty years of culinary experience working as Executive Chef in restaurants and cooking schools internationally. He has traveled Europe to host trainings and demos for the Zwilling Group. Bernard’s cooking style specializes in inventive flavor combinations with a flair for creating beautiful plate presentations. 

This is a hands-on class that ends in a meal.

This class is for participants 16 and up. Teenagers must be accompanied by an adult; both the teenager and accompanying adult must purchase a class seat.

CLASS TRANSFER POLICY: No Refunds. If you are unable to attend this class, you may request a transfer to move your reservation to another class. However these requests must be received seven (7) working days in advance of the class date. If your request is made after seven (7) working days, we will not be able to accommodate your transfer request. You may, however, pass along your place in this class to another person. Planning and staffing takes place well in advance of each cooking class; therefore, we are unable to offer refunds.
