Good for Your Gut Bloody Mary

Fermentation is the "it" word right now, but it's not a trend. It's a necessity. Consuming more gut-friendly bacteria is important to our health and future. And what better way to get those microbes in your belly than a cocktail? Pour off a little kraut brine and put it to good--and delicious--use!

Ingredients:

12 cups Tomato Juice
1-2 cups sauerkraut brine
1 cup vodka
2 Tbl The Remedy Hot Sauce
2 tsp Sweet Smoked Paprika
Lime
Celery Salt for garnishing the Rim
Celery and/or pickled vegetables for garnish

Directions:
Combine the Bloody Mary Mix, 1 cup Sauerkraut Brine, Vodka, The Remedy Hot Sauce and Smoked Paprika in a large pitcher. Stir to combine. Taste and add more Sauerkraut Brine, if desired. Rub the rims of the glasses with lime so that the celery salt adheres. Dredge the rims in Celery Salt. Add ice and the Bloody Mary mixture. Garnish with celery or pickled vegetables.
