Shallot Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 large bell pepper, diced
1 medium onion, diced
1 Tbl Bourbon Balsamic Vinegar
1 Tbl Big Daddy's Smokehouse
1 28 oz canned baked beans*
In a medium pot, saute the onion and bell pepper in a drizzle of Shallot Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Saute for just 5 mins if you want a nice bite of crunchy onion and pepper in your beans. Or saute for 12 mins until very soft, translucent and browned for less of a crunchy "bite." Add the baked beans to the pot along with with the Bourbon Balsamic Vinegar and Big Daddy's Smokehouse Blend. Simmer for 10 mins or until the mixture thickens. Taste and adjust with salt or more Big Daddy's.
A note about the baked beans...
We chose the most boring can of baked beans available. No bacon, maple syrup or any other add ins. Simply "baked beans."
