Baja Shrimp Tacos

Anne set forth an employee challenge: Step outside your comfort zone, pick an unfamiliar blend, cook up a dish, post a pic and win a prize! Lukas and Maddie accepted! They grabbed Barbacoa Blend and whipped up shrimp tacos to overwhelmingly positive reviews. This spicy-savory blend is perfect when served up with a cool condiment like sour cream, guac or pico de gallo. Add this one to your Taco Tuesday arsenal!


1 lb medium shrimp, peeled & deveined

1/2 oz Barbacoa Blend

All Natural Avocado Oil


Rinse the shrimp and pat dry. Sprinkle the Barbacoa Blend over the shrimp and rub to distribute. Allow to sit for about five minutes. Heat a skillet over medium high heat. Add the Avocado Oil. Saute the shrimp (in batches if necessary) until golden brown, firm and opaque pink throughout--about 3 minutes each side. 

Serve with tortillas, guacamole, sour cream and any other taco accoutrement you desire!
