Not your Grandma's deviled eggs...this picnic staple gets an upgrade from Hot Smoked Paprika. This uber-popular spice is a favorite among grillers. The smoky-spicy heat is perfect for any type of grilled meats. You can also add it to chilis, soups and stews. Use it to update old standards...like these deviled eggs.
6 hard-boiled eggs
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 Tbl sweet relish
1 tsp dijon mustard
Salt to taste
Cut each egg lengthwise and scoop the yolks from the center. In a bowl, combine the yolks, mayonnaise, relish, mustard and salt. Taste and adjust the salt and mayonnaise (for consistency). Scoop or pipe the filling back into the egg white halves. Garish with a sprinkling of Hot Smoked Paprika.
