According to Miriam Webster: "Friendsgiving is a blend of friend and Thanksgiving, and it refers to a large meal eaten with friends either on or near Thanksgiving." We love this definition and love the meaning even more. Whether it's a literal duplication of the traditional Thanksgiving meal or a casual mishmash of suppertime favorites, we are all in. Webster is still debating the term Friendsgiving and has it on its "words we're watching" list. We, on the other hand, officially state: Friendsgiving is real. Another good reason to gather.
