Beau Monde Blend

Beau Monde is a throwback spice blend that deserves a comeback! Beau Monde was part of a popular dip from the 1970's that hostesses could serve with crudite or toast points. Beau Monde Dip is divine, but there's so much more to this blend!

Beau Monde Dip--Add to sour cream for a retro dip. We've upgraded it here with Greek Yogurt.

Potato Soup--Make your favorite potato soup sans the cheese and bacon. Add Beau Monde blend to the soup at the end for an exotic twist on an old favorite

Roast Beef--Use Beau Monde as a rub on a rump or eye of the round roast. For best results, allow the blend to meld on the roast for at least an hour. Bake a usual…makes an unforgettable gravy.

Chicken Salad--Add a teaspoon or two to a mayonnaise-based chicken salad. Gives an old standard a new depth of flavor!

Rice Pilaf--saute 1 cup raw rice, 1 Tbl butter and 1 tsp Beau Monde Blend in a heavy-bottomed pot with a lid. Add 2 cups hot broth or water. Bring to a boil, lower heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
