French bread sliced baked in a cinnamon-spiced, vanilla-flecked custard then topped with sweet, syrupy strawberries...could a dish get any better?

These little cups of chocolatey heaven will make you the talk of the dinner party--they're that good. Make these and pop them in the fridge the day before, and you'll have a head start on the finishing touch to dinner. The Vietnamese Cinnamon and Cayenne pepper make for a surprising pop to this rich, sweet, decadent dessert.

This galette was the result of a happy accident. Anne thought she was grabbing blueberries and a disk of pie crust from the freezer, but it turned out to be the dough used in our Sugar Sanded Strawberry Toaster Pastry recipe. This mixup resulted in a most delicious galette. This tender, flaky crust may not be sturdy, but it does make for a decadent base for the sweet, syrupy blueberry filling.

Oats, nuts, seeds, sweetener and dried fruit...those are the basic components of granola. We love this version. This combo includes nutty almond butter and dried cherries which makes it a little reminiscent of a PB&J. This is a great breakfast staple and packs well for delicious on-the-go snacking!

Lukas works as our stock assistant after school and during the summer. He didn't have to think long about his guilty pleasure: Donuts. When we quizzed him on which type of donuts he preferred, he rattled off every donut variety. We normally leave this sort of fare to the experts, but for Lukas, we fired up the deep fryer, mixed the dough and set it out to rise overnight. The end result were warm, melty donuts with a sweet glaze and crunchy cinnamon sugar.

This coffee cake is a throwback to a Betty Crocker recipe. We've updated it with cardamom for a touch of the exotic. And we've used Kinloch Pecan Oil in place of the canola. The pecan oil gives the cake a denser crumb but it's all for the better. We love the texture of this cake, and the flavor is out of this world!

When writing the intro for this recipe, we considered: "Bacon. Brown Sugar. Cinnamon. That is all." That's because this dish doesn't need much more of a description. Make this and then prepare yourself for accolades, compliments and quite possibly a marriage proposal.

The actual name for these bars should be “cherry walnut vanilla sesame oatmeal bars”. However, that’s quite a mouthful. Since these bars are so delicious, you’ll want mouthful after mouthful.

When I think of crowd pleasing desserts, this one comes to mind. I made this for a 4th of July party, and it received raves. But to me, it's a fall dessert with the spiced nuts, brown sugar and coffee. You might be wondering: Ice cream in the fall? Yes, Autumn in Louisiana is still ice cream weather...

My aunt makes a long list of amazing desserts, and this one is among my favorites . I love the contrast of the toasty, buttery topping with the warm fruit underneath. Serve this warm with vanilla ice cream.

Monkey Bread is a sleepover staple in our house. Nothing quiets a table full of teenagers like warm, cinnamon-y goodness. It's also a fairly simple recipe that kids can help prepare--making it a great choice for Mom on Mother's Day.
