Creole Cowboy Sliders

These sliders are little burgers that are big on flavor. Grocery stores sell slider buns, but we love serving these on sweet Hawaiian dinner rolls. Rather than brushing the BBQ sauce on the sliders, we serve it combined with melted butter as a dipping sauce. Serve these as a fun appetizer at an outdoor party. Makes 12 sliders.

Ingredients

1 lb ground chuck

1 Tbl Creole Cowboy Blend

2 Tbl Arbequina Olive Oil

1/2 cup Jay D's Louisiana Barbecue Sauce

2 Tbl melted butter

Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Directions

Heat a grill to medium-high. Combine the ground chuck, Creole Cowboy Blend and Arbequina Olive Oil. Mix gently trying not to overwork the meat. Form into 12 small patties. Grill until cooked to desired doneness--3-5 minutes for medium-well. Just before removing from the grill, place the cheese on the patties. Combine the Jay D's Louisiana Barbecue Sauce with the melted butter. Serve the sliders with the BBQ Sauce and butter combination as a dipping sauce.
